About Us

Nourished Communities was started by Rollo Millership as a response to Covid. Rollo began working with farmers' markets at 14 years old, and over the years has built a broad network of local and independent producers.

Today we're four stores across London, working with artisan and independent makers, growers and producers. Our shops have been called Aladdin's caves, stocked with gut health products, artisan hot sauces, free-range meats, local honey, handmade chocolates, Mexican products, organic fruit and vegetables, fresh gluten-free bread, empanadas, refillable household products, oat milk, and unfiltered extra virgin olive oil from Greece.

We're imagining and creating new food systems — ones that are resilient and contribute responsibly to the communities and environments around them. As we grow, so does the passionate, talented community of makers and producers we work with, and the ripples keep spreading.

In 2023 we hosted the Nourished Communities Food Festival, bringing together over 100 independent producers, speakers on regenerative agriculture, and workshops on fermenting and growing mushrooms from coffee granules — over 2,000 people came along.
