Most commonly referred to as ‰Û÷shells, Conchiglie Rigate cuddle sauces more than any other pasta due to the rigid outer and smooth, deep, cave-like interior. They are excellent with lighter sauces and those with chunky pieces. For our family, these shells are the basis for the most awesome twist on ‰Û÷Mac ‰Û÷n Cheese; each pasta piece oozes cheese and those oh so cheeky bacon pieces seem to magically hide in the centres for an exhilarating crispy surprise.
The Yorkshire Pasta Company started making pasta in 2019. They wanted to put Yorkshire on the map for fine pasta. The use locally milled wheat flour in the process supporting local businesses and reducing their food miles & carbon footprint. They use solar panels from green energy to power the business and all the pasta is made from wheat flour and water meaning it is 100% natural & no stabilisers or preseratives are used. The pasta is not bagged in plastic and the packaging is 100% recyclable!
