Our West Coast IPA is STOP TRYING TO MAKE FETCH HAPPEN 5.8%, a nostalgic beer with zesty bitterness. When devising the recipe, we wanted to make a West Coast IPA, which felt close to the style, with pine shining front-and-centre. Using wheat, Vienna and pale malt, we made a base which has a creamy element to the body as well as gentle amber haze. Seeking a bold, popping aroma, we added masses of Citra leaf hops to the tail-end of the boil. To finish, we added a wonderful blend of Cashmere and Simcoe to the dry hop, complementing the resinous pine with tropical fruits.
