Our farm has been family-run for six generations.
We grow a variety of heritage grains on our farm including einkorn, Lys Brun and Ölands.
Our love of growing heritage grains comes from ecology, flavour and reimagining food networks. We scour the world in search of amazing varieties, and then bring them back to the farm to try.
We can grow these grains without any external chemical inputs. They are all long straw heritage wheats, meaning they grow tall and their roots deep, which enable us to more the farm towards organic practices as they scavenge the ground for water and nutrients.
We also have a big focus on baking quality and flavour. We work closely with chefs and bakers alike to grow the best grains possible, and develop recipes to go with them. This enables us to follow our grains from seed to loaf!
We also support other farmers in our area to grow grains, and then purchase them for flour. Thus creating a larger heritage grain network which supports other farmers to grow regeneratively too.
